FAQ — Crow Bookkeeping, LLC

Question 1

How do I get started with Crow Bookkeeping?

Accepted Answer

It's simple — fill out our intake form or give us a call at (603) 461-5747. We'll schedule a brief discovery call to learn about your business, your current bookkeeping situation, and what you need. From there, we'll recommend the right services and get you set up.

Question 2

What information do I need to provide to get started?

Accepted Answer

To get started, we'll need access to your bank and credit card statements, your accounting software (if you use one), and any existing financial records. Don't worry if things are a bit disorganized — we're used to it, and we'll help you get everything sorted.

Question 3

Do you work with businesses outside of New Hampshire?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. While we're based in New Hampshire, we serve clients nationwide. All of our work is done remotely, so location is never a barrier.

Question 4

How is pricing determined?

Accepted Answer

Our pricing is based on the size and complexity of your business — primarily the volume of transactions and the services you need. We offer flat monthly rates so you always know what to expect. Contact us for a custom quote.

Question 5

Can I add or remove services as my business changes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We understand that businesses evolve. You can adjust your service package as your needs change — whether that means adding payroll, scaling up reporting, or simplifying during slower seasons.

Question 6

Do you prepare taxes?

Accepted Answer

We don't file tax returns, but we work closely with your CPA or tax preparer to make sure your books are clean and your financials are tax-ready. We can also refer you to trusted tax professionals if needed.

Question 7

What accounting software do you use?

Accepted Answer

We work with QuickBooks Online and Xero. If you're not currently using either, we can help you get set up on the platform that best fits your business.

Question 8

How often will I hear from you?

Accepted Answer

At minimum, you'll receive your monthly financial reports and a summary of any notable items. We're also available by phone and email whenever you have questions — you won't have to wait for a scheduled check-in to get an answer.

Question 9

What if my books are a mess?

Accepted Answer

That's exactly why we're here. Whether you're months behind, have years of uncategorized transactions, or have never had a bookkeeper before — we can help. We'll assess where things stand and give you a clear plan to get caught up.
